The Greater Littleton Youth Initiative’s mission is to promote healthy youth development through:

• Providing a supportive environment through a permanent community network for groups and individuals
• Reducing risk factors and increasing protective factors
• Increasing the support for effective existing programs and introducing promising new programs
• Building and sustaining community awareness and involvement

GLYI History

Formed within the first month following the tragedy at Columbine High School, the GLYI began with a town meeting at Euclid Middle School and formally established itself in 2001. Visit our History Page for more information on the beginnings of the GLYI.
