Littleton Public School District is hosting an Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) on February 1 and 2, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

ASIST teaches an adult how to “receive” a suicidal individual and refer him or her to the best place possible be that the hospital, or home with parents. Trainees learn how to perform a suicide “CPR”, or emergency assessment. This training is intense and takes two full days, but what you learn is invaluable. We have approximately 15 slots available at this time. There is no cost.
